Because our business is quite unique, and we have different types of clients and services we provide, I wanted to take the opportunity to describe the different types of clients we serve and what we can offer each and every one of them.
One of our "bread and butter" clients is the aquarium hobbyist. This client has varying levels of knowledge of the hobby, but more importantly, is heavily involved in setting up and managing their own system on a day-to-day basis. Our relationship with these clients is anywhere from a one-time visit, to routine "light" visits. Visits and services for these clients often include: PAR Mapping, chemistry testing, tank sitting etc. With this level client, we serve as more of a backup, or a guide along their aquarium journey. We can be there as much or as little as they need.
This client loves the viewing pleasure of an aquarium, as we all do, but is not involved in the manual part of the setup and maintenance of their system. They can be as heavily involved in the planning process and communicate their ideas of what they want, but leave the dirty work to us. They dream it, we build it and take care of it.
This client is typically an owner or director of a business establishment like a doctors office, restaurant, brewery, coffee house, salon, etc. The Investor understands the benefits of adding such a beautiful and interesting system to their business. Aquariums have been scientifically proven to have a calming effect that lowers levels of stress and can even lower blood pressure. This is especially great for doctor's offices. For the other businesses, it can become a signature of the ambiance, becoming a talking point for the general public, leading to more traffic and more sales.
We serve many clients , in many ways! Our purpose is to help guide you to a happy and healthy saltwater aquarium, regardless of how involved you want to be. We also have seen many clients evolve. They start out as one type, then evolve into another! You could start out as an Observer, then turn into the Hobbyist. Or, have aspirations of being the Hobbyist, and realize you don't have the time or patience, but want to continue to enjoy your aquarium and ultimately become the Observer. There are no rules, and never any judgement. We love this hobby and we love all of our clients!
